Ongoing programs: 1. Educational programs for our members and for the general public (speakers activities displays) 2. Management of the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program which operates the Police Point Park Nature Centre offering services to schools community groups and the general public 3. Co-ordination of bird plant and invertebrate field trips and citizen science counts 4. Liaison with other naturalist organizations and with government agencies to do with environmental issues 5. Education about and working to control invasive species 6. Wrapping trees with wire mesh to protect them from damage done by beavers 7. Participating in clean-up of parks trails and riparian areas within the city 8. Distribution of our published 'Bird Trails - a Guide to Birding in SE Alberta' 9.
