Provides christmas hampers to families in need. Most items for this collected from parish food and toy drive. Conducted home visits to households in need of assistance - disbursement of $7 340 in assistance to 32 adults and 24 children community out reach clinics held twice monthly to provide food cards to those in need - disbursement of $28 970 worth of food cards helping hands lunch held 3-4 times per month - services 2893 meals at a total cost of $9 010 diaper bank held once a month. Helped 145 families - value of diapers distributed $2 064 food drives held 3 times per year - food collected 1750 lbs. Given to food banks in our area children's aid society women's rural resources centre and christmas hampers scholarships of $3000 awarded to a student to help with post secondary education. Also assisted this student in buying a laptop for her post secondary education.
