Monetary donations are received from parishioners charities on a weekly basis. To assist families in need of household items food & personal care. Home visits are done for clients to determine their needs & provide help on an emergency basis. Svdp continues to donate to st.alphonsus school breakfast program on a quarterly basis. Peterborough gleans was given $ for buses to take less fortunate families to pick fresh fruit & vegetables for their own use compliments of a local farm. A food pantry & 3 clothing/ household items stores continue to operate in conjunction. With the svdp conferences. Majority of monitery donations are given to particular council to purchase food & supplies for the stores.
