The society services the underprivileged in london and operates two stores where all of the merchandise sold is donated by the public. From the store we also provide free furniture clothing and housewares to those who are unable to pay. We have full time staff and a number of volunteers. There are 13 parish conferences in the city operating at arm's length who provide food and/or grocery cards to those in need in their area. When the members of those conferences call on their clients they determine if those clients require additional help in the form of furniture housewares and or/clothing. If so they give their clients a voucher to bring to our main store location where they are given the items free of charge. If required we also provide free delivery. The society coordinates activities with the parish conferences to assist with their works of charity. The society has acquired property for the construction of a 73 unit affordable housing complex. A general contractor has been engaged and ground-breaking occurred on april 4 2025. Occupation of the building is expected december 2026/january 2027.
