We continued to provide social research community development & program planning across 4 priority areas (below). (1) access to basics: in response to food insecurity and housing crisis. We continue with programs that directly support vulnerable residents including digital equity (comupters and connectivity) and street involved people. We promote civic education through our porjects 'synapcity' and 'youth action now'. (2) community economic development: our youth employment program continued with training placemtns youth economic incubators youth social enterprises ('youth active media' 'hot shoe productions' & 'technology reseach and communications'). (3) increasing inclusion : we continued to support the capacity of ethno-cultural groups to reduce isolation provide recreation programs for seniors families and youth homework club cultural programming education of healthy living and school success and accompaniment for new immigrants. We expanded supports social programs and education for people living with mental illness. (4) supports for the voluntary sector: we provide social research and evaluation ('effective measures') access to data through a consortium our community information and mapping system and the neighbourhood equity index website with additional research on hate crimes vulnerable populations digital equity and for the rural countries in eastern ontario. 501 volunteers contributed 6 692 hrs in response to seniors isolation we launched new in house support pilot project that provide seniors light housekeeping support home visiting accompanying the seniors to appointments and volunteer suport in order to help ethnocultural seniors age healthy at their homes. Our trac (technology research and communication social enterprises provided supports to black-led businesses grassroots groups and organizations addressing the impact of systemic racism in their communities.
