Smart Serve Ontario

Smart serve ontario promotes a safeer and healthier ontario through two alcohol and gaming commission of ontario ('agco') approved courses in responsible liquor service: a comprehensive course and a retail-focused course ensuring responsible alcohol sales service handling and delivery. Since 1995 our mandate is to support the industry in their endeavours to ensure responsible alcohol service is aligned with public safety for the good of our communities. We continue in our efforts to ensure the message of responsible alcohol consumption is understood by the broader public including university and college students. Through education state-of-the-art training open dialogue and strategic partnerships our primary goal is to be an active participant in helping to change the culture and behavior of all who engage in the sale service and consumption of beverage alcohol. Smart serve ontario proudly supports education in hospitality and tourism management throughout the province of ontario by: providing scholarships to universities and colleges in ontario in support of hospitality culinary tourism and hotel management; supporting many hospitality and tourism associations and organizations through partnerships to better educate and support the communities we serve; by funding the drinksmart alcohol awareness & education program created for ontario post-secondary students-by-students; investing in various research.
