Silver Threads Service Senior Citizens Activity Centre

Silver threads service is a charitable not-for profit society that enhances social connections and well-being for seniors. We do this by providing programs and services that are accessible to all. Our vision is seniors are engaged and supported enhancing their quality of life. We operate two activity centres one is saanich and one in victoria and provide a wide variety of programs that include fitness sports wellness art music games educational social and discussion groups. Our services include senior mentoring computer support food share telephone reassurance and information and referral. We are volunteer supported with volunteers involved in many areas of the organization. Expanded wellness programs include a variety of yoga classes essentrics qigong.
