Signal Hill Tattoo Association Inc.

The signal hill tattoo program is seasonal (summer) depiction of the royal newfoundland regiment of foot which garrisoned st. John's circa 1800. Approximately 10-15 students are employeed. The tattoo season covers the period may 1 to labour day weekend with the close of the performance season the association's voluntary directors begin the maintenance phase with the cleaning repairing and acquiring of equipment for the next year. Also during the fall months the association prepares its funding needs for the next year. This includes preparation of the annual report budget and calendar year end information inlcuding annual financial statements. Copies of these documents are then forwarded to the program's financial sponsors such as parks canada the provincial department of tourism the city of st. John's and the nl historic site association
