Shining Through Centre for Children with Autism

The shining through centre provides high quality intensive behavioural programming in one-to-one and small group instruction using the principles of applied behaviour analysis (aba) for children with autism. Shining through centre provides a variety of programs: early intensive behavioural intervention (eibi) a comprehensive evidenced based behavioural intervention using the principles of applied behaviour analysis (aba); early intensive behavioural intervention (eibi) + inclusion in a school setting and; youth program up to 21 years a program for adolescents and young adults designed to develop specific skills that promote independence community intergration and individuality; parent coaching which equips parents/family members with the knowledge and strategies to foster important skills and manage the needs and behaviour of their children in their home or community; group programs that focus on social interactions conflict resolution and cooperation; and academic remediation to help learners with their reading writing and math skills.
