About Shepherds of Good Hope
Shepherds of good hope fosters hope and reduces harm in ottawa by supporting people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable adults in our community through specialized services programs and partnerships. This support is provided by addressing challenges with mental health substance use disorders and trauma by helping stabilize people through our specialized shelter programs community and volunteers services (such as soup kitchen and drop in program) and our supportive housing facilities. The supportive housing program provide long-term homes with on-site around-the-clock support for people of all genders. Transitional shelter programs help people of all genders break the cycle of life on the street by connecting them with case managers help people manage physical and mental health needs and addictions and develop life skills. Additionally the community support services program includes a soup kicthen and evening drop in. The evening drop-in program provides activities and food.
