Shelburne County Youth Health & Support Association

After school drop in services for youth in shelburne; boys and girls self-esteem programs; workshops focusing on healthy relationships; healthy living mental health tutoring crisis services such as housing meals medical safer sex products etc. Outreach support worker who supports youth ages 12-18 throughout shelburne county who are referred by; centre of education staff schools plus local mental health service providers as well as self referrals. Food security initiatives designed to provide additional food resources as well as teaching about cooking and food security; lgbtq education and support services. Sexual violence prevention program to improve outcomes for youth between ages of 12-18 who are at risk of being subjected to sexual violence through mentorhship and by assisting them to access services and supports.
