Shameless hussy productions presented love bomb in march 2024 for stop sexual exploitation week in collaboration with plea and the sacy program (supporting and connecting youth) in vancouver. There were three show - two for students and one for vsb parents totalling 740 audience members for this free event that included a reception before hand and a talk back afterwards. This dramatic musical exposes the crime of sex trafficking in canada and was first presented in 2015. In may we toured dissolve to eske'temc and penticton after opening in vancouver. Approximately 660 people saw the show over 5 performances. We presented again in september for the end violence of bc conference to 175 enthusiastic delegates. This was the 12th year of presenting dissolve to canadian audiences. We presented to perfection by meghan gerdiner at the genesis theatre in delta in collaboration with delta stageworks october 2-6 2024. The 7 performances were well received with 475 audience members attending. We included a student and senior only matinee and held a talk back afterwards where intergenerational audience members engaged in conversations around the topic of non-binary. Many people thanked us for presenting this important relatable issue in an approachable humorous way. This was the second run of to perfection. September 2024 we created a new version of love bomb with a new actor playing the role of lillian. We also incorporated video into this production redesigning our set to include a screen as part of the 'bar' where audience can read the lyrics as well as hear them played helping them follow the story. Talkbacks occurred after every performance with local police women's organizations and community service groups. Following a talkback teachers had the opportunity to continue this initial conversation with their students in greater depth with our updated study guide. We toured b.c.
