Semiahmoo Arts Society

We are an arts charity organization providing arts and culture services to south surrey and white rock. We create sustainable employment for local arts instructors bu offering afforable quality art education for all ages. This includes watercolor acrylic multi-media art pottery drawing classes and performing arts. We manage a premium pottery drawing classes and performing art. We manage a premium pottery space providing studio space glazes firing and outdoor opportunities to potters. We partner with the city of white rock and city of surrey to provide exhibition opportunities for artists. We offer the sas shoppe where we shoe the sell artists' work with 70% of sales to the artist. With addidtional grant funding we have been able to expand out community outreach programming : art and art-based therapies have been proven to offer an array of benefits for mental health and well being beneficial to all ages. We offer outreach programs for a variety of facilities such as: extended care preschool special needs school programs etc. As well as host traveling arts sandboxes a free low barrier creative pop up that welcomes all to make art and share and enjoy the creative process.
