Scleroderma Atlantic Society

Education and Awareness - we advance education and awareness of scleroderma; we create and distribute pamphlets & brochures outlining information about the disease and the services offered by the organization; we host monthly meet-ups online and in person; we moderate a private (patient only) Facebook group and a public Facebook page; we create and distribute educational videos on topics related to scleroderma; we host public information sessions and educational forums online and in person. Patient Support - we provide financial assistance and support to individuals living with scleroderma through managing the David Shea Memorial Patient Support Fund. Research - we advance education by supporting scleroderma research and projects targeted at improving the health and lives of people living with scleroderma. Advocacy - we advocate for the lowering of costs and expenses and the betterment of healthcare medications and treatments available for people living with scleroderma.
