Save the MothersRegistered

Save the mothers operates an inter-disciplinary masters in public health leadership program on the campus of uganda christian university. The program has a full time ugandan academic director to coordinate teaching and about 22 part time faculty members mostly ugandan from the ugandan ministry of health the world health organization and other key organizations. The mother friendly hospital initiative has been developed by save the mothers as an innovative and low-cost intervention at the hospital/health care facility level to ensure that hospitals have the essential services to save the lives of mothers and their babies. Their programs are overseen by a full time executive director in uganda.
