Sault Ste Marie Symphony Association

The organization comprises of 45-50 classically trained musicians provides musical productions in the algoma district of ontario and sault ste marie michigan in the united states to promote interest in and the study and practice of the musical arts. The productions provide opportunities for the citizens of algoma and sault ste marie michigan to experience arts and culture particularly the performing musical arts. These performances provide educational opportunities for young musicians to learn the performing arts aspect of music and more seasoned musicians the opportunity to maintain their skills; while at the same time offering an arts/cultural benefit. The performances require management promotion and operation/organizational activities and capacity to ensure recurring high quality and successful musical performances by producing a variety of classical and current themes to maintain interest. These performances are delivered 5 or 6 times a year. We are planning virtual concerts to our patrons by engaging soloists from our sault symphony orchestra.
