Saskatchewan Synod Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada Inc.

The Saskatchewan Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) and its Bishop provide pastoral care for ELCIC rostered and diaconal ministers and nurture ELCIC congregations within the boundaries of the Saskatchewan Synod. They liaise between the ELCIC national office and ELCIC Saskatchewan Synod congregations. It hosts a triennial convention for rostered pastors/deacons and congregations of the Synod and an annual study conference for rostered leaders. It supports ministries to students youth hospital and care home chaplaincies and Indigenous peoples. It provides grants and administers grants from the national office and Canadian Lutheran World Relief to local organizations.
