Promote through information exchanges and advocacy a province-wide integrated system of libraries and library services to the residents of saskatchewan. These services include programs such as summer reading club annual conference frances morrison trust mary donaldson award saskatchewan library week culture days grant program freedom to read week grant program for libraries one book one province program a continuing education program for library workers and the maureen woods education bursary and indigenout mlis student bursary. In 2024 sla introduced a library grant funding program for national indigenous peoples day to celebrate and bring honor to first nations and métis people of our province.
