Saskabilities' purpose is to: 1. Relieve conditions associated with disability through provision of programs and services that increase independence and qality of life; 2. Promote health through rehabilitation assesments equipment and other support for individuals with health conditions. Our ongoing programs support this purpose by serving more than 60 000 children youth and adults experiencing disability in saskatchewan by providing vocational recreational and rehabilitation progrmas. This includes: 1. Providing orthopaedic services and speical needs equipment; such as wheelchairs hospital beds and transfer equipment. 2. Providing adaptive technology services focusing on using electronics and computers to aid educational employment and social opportunities. 3. Operating day programs for adults experiencing disability. 4. Operating recreational programs for people experiencing disability including camp easter seal. 5.providing vocational rehabilitation programs for people experiecning disability including support in finding and keeping jobs and partnering with employers for access to resources and job search assistance
