Sam Sullivan Disability Foundation

The Disability Foundation supports individuals with disabilities by supporting and promoting programs that foster community engagement. Established through Sam Sullivan's initiative the Foundation aims to achieve this main goal by backing the efforts of various affiliated non-profit groups. In 2024 the Foundation continued its work with the Vancouver Disability Solutions Network (VDSN) planning its next forum for the first half of 2025. The goal of this program is to connect organizations working for people with disabilities to share information and resources and to create a framework that better supports those we serve. The topic is emergency preparedness and climate change and their impacts on people with disabilities with the forum scheduled to take place in May 2025.
