Salmon coast supports innovative research public education community outreach and ecosystem awareness to achieve lasting conservation measures for the lands and waters of the broughton archipelago and surrounding areas by: - helping researchers understand and restore ecosystems of coastal british columbia; - educating students visitors volunteers tourists community members and the general public about the ecosystems we are working to conserve and restore; - supporting the vitality of our community through public education and community development initiatives; - exemplifying sustainable living within these ecosystems and communities.
