Saanich Volunteer Services Society

Saanich volunteer services society provides coordinated volunteer services that promote independent living and enhance the quality of life for people living in the saanich municipality. Volunteer services for over 1 000 clients including: drives to medical and other appointments companion visits reassuring phone calls minor home repairs gardening dog walking tax form completion and income tax returns food hamper and meal delivery and housekeeping services. The society also provides professional support to individual clients through its community outreach programs which involves socialization programs for clients a personalized intake visit and connects to other community services and resources.
