S.u.c.c.e.s.s. Community Housing Society

S.u.c.c.e.s.s. (aka united chinese community enrichment services society) incorporated a legal entity named s.u.c.c.e.s.s. Community housing society ('schs') on june 1 2023. Notification of registration as a charity was received from cra on may 3 2024. Per cra notification the effective date of registration as a charity is september 5 2023 the date the application for charity registration was received. The goal of incorporating schs and registering it as a charity is to separate the housing projects (of which are currently identified in s.u.c.c.e.s.s.'s financial records as pertaining to the 'housing fund') from other social services and programs provided by s.u.c.c.e.s.s. Allowing for improved clarity and efficiency in the management and reporting on the housing operations. It is aimed to complete the transfer of the housing projects by april 1 2025 to align with the start of the new fiscal year. As a result for the period ended march 31 2024 schs is inactive.
