1] director empowerment: one-on-one support of immigrant and refugee women in winnipeg who have been impacted by intimate partner violence (domestic abuse) through: i) safe housing ii) psychological counselling and iii) practical supports which include: advocating for eligible financial benefits - e.g. Child care subsidies providing legal referrals and support education and employment guidance and more; 2] mirrors: a reflection of immigrant women building healthy relationships ongoing 12-week community support workshop program that gives knowledge assists in client's healing process from abuse and provides a safe forum for establishing healthy friendships
