Royal Canadian Legion Weyburn Branch #47 Poppy Fund

We provide welfare and direct assistance to veterans in need and their dependants. We conduct hospital/care home visits to veterans widows and their dependants. Funding goes to long term and short term care for veterans and their families by way of donations to the following organizations: weyburn care a van inc stars air ambulance weyburn hospital wascana rehabilitation united way paws for vets buy a bench program in honour of our veterans and members. We conduct remembrance day services administer the weyburn legion poppy campaign literary and poster remembrance contest and youth education rememberance program. We provide continuing education bursaries for eligible students.
