Riverwood Church Community carries out weekend services throughout three of its Elmwood locations and manages mid-sized and small groups weekly. Riverwood engages with children and youth throughout the week. Actively supporting the needs of the local neighbourhood through its food bank drop-ins support groups women's programming and crisis support is central to the heart of Riverwooders. Riverwood financially supports local and international missionaries who call Riverwood home by partnering with other Registered Charities. In addition Riverwood provides assistance to two care points in Eswatini Africa. Riverwood is working towards relieving poverty and promoting health by providing affordable housing with program supports for individuals in recovery from addictions and mental health through its 40-person supportive housing project at 65 Stadacona called Riverwood House.
