Riparian Management Society

Working at the invitation of ranchers farmers lake front residents community groups youth educators watershed stewardship groups or conservation clubs and municipalities we are asked to provide riparian information to increase their knowledge and awareness of these areas including how riparian areas work or function why they are important and how we can link management choices to improving or maintaining these areas. We help to build knowledge reduce conflicts increase cooperative efforts and arrange technical advice and tools for management. We deliver presentation and field days tour demonstration and profile sites monitor riparian health interact with youth develop and provide extension materials provide expertise and guidance and offer a website to increase the awareness and understanding of riparian areas and their management. We also work with various regional and provincial initiatives to provide expertise and education.
