The rideau hall foundation (rhf) is a regsitered national charity that brings together ideas people and resources to enhance the impact of the office of the governor general as a central institution of canadian democracy. Working towards a better canada the rhf's work spans four key programmatic areas and challenges for canada including: (1) learning initiatives that strive for excellence and promote equality of opportunity; (2) strengthening canada's culture of innovation (3) widening the circle of giving and volunteering; and (4) building and celebrating excellence in canadian leadership and increasing public awareness about the commitment to canada's multi-faceted democracy. // la fondation rideau hall (frh) est un organisme caritatif enregistré qui réunit des idées es gens et des ressources pour soutenir l'action du bureau du gouverneur général en tant qu'institution pivot de la démocratie canadienne. Déterminée à bâtir un canada meilleur la frh s'incrit dans quatre volets ded programmes et enjeux : (1) créer des programmes d'apprentissage qui favorisent l'excellence et l'égalité des chances en éducation; (2) promouvoir une culture de l'innovation au canada ; (3) élargir le cercle de don et de bénévolat ; et (4) stimuler et reconnaître l'excellence en leadership au canada et promouvoir la participation à la démocratie.
