Richmond Nature Park Society

Our environmental programs provide hands-on experiences for the public and school groups from preschool to grade 4. These engaging programs offer a break from urban life and a chance to connect with nature. Through interactive age appropriate activities participants explore local ecosystems and wildlife. Our goal is to inspire curiosity deepen understanding and instill a lasting appreciation for the natural world. By fostering enjoyment and environmental stewardship we aim to nurture the next generation of nature lovers and protectors. As we expand our reach our environmental programs in richmond now span several parks--paulik garden city terra nova and tait waterfront-- with the richmond nature park leading the way. We offer a diverse range of activities including children's camps adult workshops and seniors walks designed to engage participants of all ages. Our calendar features special events such as the city nature challenge earth week bc rivers day and national indigenous peoples day as well as city-wide initiatives like participaction and pride week. To increase inclusivity and accessibility we've introduced an outreach program that brings nature education directly to students who are unable to visit the nature park ensuring every child has the opportunity to connect with the environment.
