Religious Society of Friends (quakers) Edmonton Monthly Meeting

We hold meetings for worship weekly; this is our religious service and our reason for existing. We hold business meetings more or less monthly. We hold meetings for worship weekly; this is our religious service and our reason for existing. We hold business meetings at least every other month. We have no staff so the meeting as a whole decides questions affecting the meeting such as where to meet what sort of outreach we should undertake when to hold social gatherings or education session what quaker and other charitable groups to support and by how much whether any members of our community need oversight or guidance planning marriages or memorial services. Some members serve on national quaker committee. Financial decisions are taken by the group as a whole sometimes on the recommendation of our finance committee.
