Shelter-based primary care medical clinics are staffed part-time by a family doctor a nurse practitioner and a community paramedic. We serve people who do not have a doctor or who cannot see their doctor. We offer preventative services such as vaccinations pap tests blood pressure treatment etc. We connect people with local family practices or community health centers such as quest and care for them until they are accepted into care. We connect people with mental health services required specialist services foot care wound care and dental assessments as required.substance use and addiction program (suap) project will provide a mobile delivery model of pharmaceutical alternatives to the toxic drug supply and wraparound care serving vulnerable populations across the niagara region in partnership with regional health and service organizations.
