Reading pals program: fund a long standing tutoring program for kids from grade 1-12 to be tutored free of charge through the red deer public library. Aiming to improve literacy comprehension and vocabulary skills by being paired with tutors directly. Children's wish breakfast: purchase toys for donation to children in red deer who are lower income distributed to families by the salvation army after the event fundraiser. School bus harness program: assist families in purchasing safety harnesses to allow children with special needs the ability to ride the bus safely to and from school. Special needs medical and mobility equipement: financially support families in the purchase of mobility or functional equipement for children in the community with special needs requirements that are not covered elsewhere.
