Served over 380 families living in poverty through our onsite Food Hub (food bank) and 'free' thrift store. Fostered food security of families living in poverty by offering free cooking and baking classes. Our family care coordinator connected families living in poverty to other useful community resources. Fostered social inclusion and confidence of families living in poverty through conversation circles community dinners and hosting ESL and financial literacy classes. We offered our space to specialists in the community to deliver workshop sessions to families living in poverty. Organizations hosted BBQ's on our site and a Christmas giveaway directed to the families that we serve.
