Rainbow Youth Centre Inc.

Our regular programming for the year included: activities and services to help youth move from adolescence to healthy and productive adulthood. Programs provided by professional youth and healthcare workers including: hot supper program; after-school evening and weekend activity programs; virtual workshops on substance abuse and other youth issues; supports to young parents (e.g. Home visits parent effectiveness and traditional parenting classes); multi-cultural awareness programs; nutrition education; recreation; pre-employment training; job mentoring. We were able to offer additional programming to support mental health wellness. We also provided additional programming to support truth and reconciliation related activities.
