Residential shelter: our shelter is designed for women and children who have traversed the harrowing landscape of family violence and abuse. With 24 units we provide an 18 month program that supports clients in navigatingthe practical and emotional complexities of leaving an abusive home including 6 month follow up to support clients in their safe transition back into community. Community outreach: our platform offers education and awareness on the issue of family violence to the community to build allies and skilled support for those experiencing family violence. Family dayhomes: we operate a network of 65 family dayhomes within calgary and take pride in offering safe andnurturing environments for children. We extend subsidies to qualifying families ensuring that accessibilityand quality care converge seamlessly nurturing the next generation in an atmosphere of warmth and security. Children centre: our industry leading children centre is the first of its kind in canada and stands as beacon of cutting-edge expertise firmly rooted in trauma-informed practices. The program recognizes that childrenexposed to family violence are more vulnerable than their peers to social emotional psychological and cognitive development problems.for those children the focus is to prevent the cycle of violence fromcontinuing by intervening early in the child's development.at radiance our programs transcend mere services-they symbolise a commitment to fostering holisitc growth unyielding support and a brighter resilient future for every individual we serve.
