Queen's University at Kingston

The university's mission is to build on the strenght of queen's students faculty staff and alumini to be among the best of internationally known universities in canada recognized for: a) the exceptional quality of its undergraduate and graduate students and programs in the arts sciences and professions; b) the intellectual power and value of research and scholarship by its faculty members and students; and c) the exemplary service of the university and its graduates to the community the nation and the community of nations. Queen's comprises seven different faculties which offer degrees at both the undergraduate and graduate level. The university also has an affiliated international study centre at herstmonceaux in england which offers students the opportunity to continue their education while living in the british countryside. No significant new programs (outside the scope of exciting programs) were undertaken this year.
