The qay'llnagaay heritage centre celebrates the living culture of the haida people. Through their language art and stories they share their relationship with the land and sea which shapes nourishes and sustains them. Qay'llnagaay protects and fosters haida culture by reaffirming their traditions and beliefs encouraging artistic expression and serving as a keeper of all that they are through maintenance of cultural symbols and materials including artifacts kay linagaay is a place for the haida voice to be heard. The centre has a carving and canoe house where works of art are worked on as well as visitors can learn of the heritage and culture of the haida people. The centre acts as a storage location for repatriated artifacts.
