Pugwash Ground Search & Rescue Unit

The volunteer member will continue to work under the emergency measures organization (emo) when call upon to assist in search for missing/lost persons. They will continue to maintain and update the command building and the command and warming trucks. Members will continue to maintain and update buildings truck and equipment including radios maps life jackets mule throw bags data projector laptops printers and antennas. Training in on going at the command building or on in the field to ensure members have the required knowledge and expertise to complete the searches. Members also help with security when requested by the village commission or rcmp for special events within the village. The members continue to train provide and maintain tracking bracelets (project lifesaver).
