Project 25-44 (sudbury) vocational resources inc. Carried out five ongoing programs during the year which are employment services educational workplace training canada ontario job grant youth employment & skills strategy and care companion. The youth employment & skills startegy program is funded by employment and social development canada all other ongoing programs are funded by the minister of labour training and skills development. Employment services provides counselling and runs a placement service to assist unemployed or underemployed individuals and new canadians educational workplace training provides reading and writing skills. Canada ontario job grant that provides direct financial support to individual employers who wish to purchase training for their employees. Youth employment & skills strategy assists unemployed or underemployed individuals between the ages of 15-29 years of age.
