Prince George Humane Society

The society provides a safe haven for abused neglected and abandoned animals. The society also funds an adoption program for rescued animals as well as providing humane education. The prince george humane society currently provides access to affordable veterinary care for low-income families individuals and indigenous communities through our veterinary partners and we will be expanding our services to better meet the growing needs of these groups. With the recent award of the animal shelter operations contract for the city of prince george we anticipate an increase in demand for our programs and services along with a corresponding rise in adoption rates and donation revenue. These developments will further enhance our ability to support animal welfare and provide essential services to underserved populations in the region.
