Provide oversight of Communities of Faith and supporting them in their life and work and ensure compliance with the policies and polity of the United Church To ordain and commission members of the order of ministry recognize Designated Lay Ministers and celebrate admission and re-admissions into the order of ministry To speak both pastorally and prophetically while providing education and advocacy on issues that affect the health of our communities
