Powell River Child Youth and Family Services Society

The society provides counselling support and skill teaching via the following programs: family preservation & support fostercare support youth justice program youth engagement services youth parents support parent-teen mediation early years program. The society also operates a youth resource centre that provides support activities and referrals for youth aged 8 to 18 years. Our parenting centre supports families in the moment of crisis and families needing resources to support their parenting. Book and toy lending onsite counselling parenting workshops and referrals to other community services are inegral to this service.
