In 2024 the powassan and district union public library (pdupl) continued to operate 44 hours per week and offering a variety of programs for all ages as well as reading materials computer access. Dvd's and other miscellaneous items to the local community.it also provided access to online books in written and audio format as well as magazines. A lifelabs blood clinic continued to operate twice a week at the library. Programs being offered at the library were weekly french conversation sessions knitting group and children and parents drop in groups and monthly book club rug hooking and writing groups. Seniors lunch and learn sessions. In 2024 due to budget cuts we were only able to add to the above regular programming a series of seniors lunch and learn sessions and it cafés through the provincial seniors community grant.
