The foundation made donations to qualified donees who were engaged in: a) research into the prevention treatment or cure of parkinson's disease or provision of services to those afflicted with the disease; b) research into the prevention treatment or cure of alzheimer's disease or provision of services to those afflicted with the disease; c) promotion of preservation of the environment; d) research into prevention treatment or cure of mental illness; e) research into the prevention treatment or cure of substance abuse or provision of services to those persons suffering from afflictions associated with substance abuse; f) furtherance of the needs of persons with physical disabilities including without limitation visual impairments.
