Accessioning of archival library and artefact donations takes place year round along with improvements to conservation and storage of the collection. The current exhibition ' they left a legacy' is open to the public. Volunteers offer workshops that teach folk art traditions such as pisanki ( egg decorating) wycinanki ( paper cutting art) as well as christmas tree ornaments on site we well as in schools and community centres. Community events for heritage days open houses also allow outreach within the community of north end winnipeg. Ogniwo museum has identified a need to expand space to a growing collections of artefacts and archives and increased needs for community events workshops lectures etc. To this end a feasibility study was commissioned with mmp architects inc. To begin qualifying and quantifying what such a project will involve. A large donation from a single donor in 2024 has kick-started a capital campaign for this projects which has been launched in 2025.
