Pine River Watershed Initiative Network

The pine river watershed initiative network's programs are implemented in an effort to improve the pine river watershed. This is accomplished by planting native tree species installing exclusion fencing to keep livestock out of the water providing livestock with alternative water sources and constructing cattle crossings to minimize contacts between the cattle and the water body. The network also engages in education and outreach activities in the community with our seedling program and potted tree ash replacement program. We host tree planting days with our local youth groups to promote the importance of environmental stewardship. Newspaper articles our social media site and the organization's website also provides information and updates to the general public. Juniper shorline reforestation project - 2024
