Pincher Creek & District Historical Society

Our education program is expanding every year and continues to grow in popularity with schools attending from all over southern alberta. Our local newspapers have been digitalized and are available for viewing at our museum. New events were tested out last summer and more are to come this summer. Cataloguing of artifacts donated by local people continues and exhibits are changing all the time. Our latest program for 2025 is our 'living history'. This will involve interviews and videos recorded live with veterans and seniors in our community and surrounding area to create a living legacy of their contributions to our local history. We had acquired an antique fire truck that served in our community and are in the process of creating a replica of our old fire hall to house this exhibit.
