In 2024 we attempted to conduct fundraising through go fund me as part of the memorial for the death of our founding director parviz behrouzi. We wer4e unable to do so because of the word 'persia' in our organization name and questions regarding possible sanctions violations for banks. We are exploring a formal name change and have requested all of the founding documents in order to redirect funds within canada.
