Perimeter Institute

To establish equip staff maintain and operate a research institute for the purpose of undertaking research primarily with respect to theoretical physics (including but not limited to: Mathematical Physics Quantum Information Quantum Foundations Quantum Gravity Quantum Fields and Strings Particle Physics Quantum Matter Cosmology and Strong Gravity). To undertake public education programs in the area of theoretical mathematical physics and to promote scientific and mathematical literacy generally through formal educational programs developed for students teachers and members of the general public.
