Work with smaller indigenous northern remote communities focusing on building food sovereigty reganining traditional knowledge around land and food. Ongoing work- Coalition for Healthy School Food build awareness about the importance of meal and food literacy programs. Educational activities included are: collecting data that supports a case for a School Food Program for Canada preparing high-quality educational materials that summarize key issues and opportunities. Working with more small Northern Indigenous communities in rural Saskatchewan that are working with children and elders to bring back traditional knowledge associated with living on the land growing and hunting food. Working with a food hub in Newfoundland and doing more work in Nfld with healthy school food initiatives Partnering with Indigenous communities in British Colombia to work on food sovereignty initiatives.
